Implementation and administration
Taking care of and understanding these critical technical steps will help prepare your organization to implement benefits and manage the administration according to the agreed-upon plan and timing.
Enrollment must be in house no later than 10 days prior to the effective date and must be updated monthly post-effective date. Enrollment can be sent to Guardian via EMMA Census or Standard EDI File. The EMMA Census template is available through your implementation resource or via Guardian Anytime.
We highly recommend working with your IT team to whitelist Spring Health IP addresses and domains(PDF) to ensure communications reach your organization properly.
List bill
Guardian will bill based on the enrollment received just prior to production of that month’s bill. Billed amounts will include applicable lives multiplied by the plan’s per-employee, per-month fee ($PEPM).
Self-administered bill
The number of Spring Health lives and premium must be reported on the self-administered billing statement. Please refer to Guide to Self-Administration(PDF) for further detail.
Spring Health produces two types of reports:
Bi-weekly or monthly: Summary utilization information within the last two to four weeks, depending on availability of data volume (enrollment, assessments, appointments, appointment type)
Quarterly: Detailed utilization information within the last 90 days (enrollment, assessments, appointments, appointment type); clinical insights; improvement rates
Note: Values will only be reported when the reporting group is greater than 10 members.
To access these reports, go to Guardian Anytime/Employer portal/Reports/Reports & Letters.
