Guardian Appoints Chief Communications Officer
NEW YORK, N.Y., March 6, 2017 – The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® (Guardian), one of the nation’s largest mutual life insurers and a leading provider of employee benefits, has named Sherry Pudloski as chief communications officer, effective immediately. Based in New York City, she will report to Deanna Mulligan, president and chief executive officer.
Ms. Pudloski will be responsible for Guardian’s brand management, as well as internal, external and digital communications. She brings more than 20 years of expertise to her role, leading all areas of communications for brand, reputation management, and corporate social responsibility. Ms. Pudloski joins Guardian from Pfizer, where she was the Head of Reputation, Policy, and Enterprise Communications, and among many responsibilities, launched the company's first corporate advertising campaign in more than a decade to share its commitment to science and cures. Prior to her seven years with Pfizer, she was an Executive Director, Strategic Planning and Communications, at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. She was also a practice lead at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and served on the firm's management committee.
