Guardian is a Workday Wellness Partner and is one of the first carriers to co-develop a catalog of APIs. Our API connections with Workday Wellness will help reduce the complexity of benefits administration by delivering instant data syncing and a better customer experience for plan configuration, enrollment, evidence of insurability, leave of absence management and more.

Easy plan set-up
The Policy API will automate the passing of plan details and rates from Guardian’s system to Workday, which helps reduce setup time and eliminate errors. We will help lead, from initial case setup to updates at renewal.

Fast eligibility updates
The Member Benefits API will transmit all member transactions from Workday to Guardian in real-time, eliminating the need for building and testing an EDI file, as well as weekly reconciliation. The real-time transfer of eligibility data will help provide more accurate member coverage status and billing statements.

Seamless EOI application
The enhanced Evidence of Insurability (EOI) API will provide a seamless experience for employees to complete the evidence of insurability questionnaire within the benefits shopping experience. Guardian reports EOI status back to Workday directly, so that volumes and payroll deductions can be updated automatically.

Manage leaves
Disability claims, leave requests and leaves will be managed within Workday, providing clarity and visibility into claim and leave activity.
Workday Wellness is an AI-powered solution that will help provide companies with a real-time view into which benefits and wellness offerings their employees want and use.
It will empower companies with AI-driven recommendations on how to improve their benefits programs, so they can deliver a more personalized wellness experience for their employees.
In addition, Workday Wellness will facilitate a real-time data exchange between employers and wellness partners making it easier for companies to access and view benefits and wellness data – e.g. participation, utilization, claims, and more in real-time.
