Helping to support employee recovery and return to work
Everyone goes through ups and downs in life. And, at the low points, we all want to feel protected. Through our partnership with Uber, we offer transportation assistance to doctor visits or rehabilitation treatments for employees with a long-term disability (LTD) claim.
Guardian offers competitively-priced, comprehensive, flexible disability plans with innovative built-in benefits for companies large and small.
When an employee is receiving their LTD benefits, they’re likely going through a lot and need extra support. Our personalized approach to disability insurance puts people first. With this transportation voucher, employees can count on:
Extra financial protection when they're not receiving their full paycheck.
Confidence knowing they have a way to get to necessary doctor visits or rehabilitation treatments.
Support on their recovery and return to work efforts.
Taking advantage of this wellness resource

Employees who have an approved LTD claim will receive a $50 Uber voucher, valid for one year.
Notification
Employees will be notified about the benefit via email or text once their claim has been approved.
Access
After receiving the voucher, employees will get simple instructions on how to redeem it via the Uber app.
