To support retiring or separating military personnel and their financial commitments to their families, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® has joined an industry partnership, that allows eligible servicemembers, their spouses, and veterans to convert their military Group Life Insurance to a Guardian Whole Life policy.

Conversions allow life insurance policyholders to transfer their existing military Group Term coverage to an individual permanent life insurance policy without the need to provide evidence of good health, up to the amount of their Group Term coverage. To be eligible, members must have either Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance ( SGLI ), Veterans’ Group Life Insurance ( VGLI ) or Family Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance ( FSGLI ) policies.
